Abstract:
A tuck-in selvedge braiding method in a tuck-in device for a towel-use shuttle-less loom, which can speed up a loom rotation, prolong a tuck-in device maintenance cycle and save on electric power compared with a tuck-in method performed for each weaving cycle, and which can improve the appearance of woven selvedges in a pile texture compared with a collective tuck-in method by which all the warps warped into each repeat are tucked in at once, the method characterized in that, when weaving a pile texture, the ends of a plurality of warps warped into one pile forming repeat are tucked in in a plurality of steps, the ends of a plurality of warps in at least one of the steps are tucked in collectively, and the last tuck-in is performed in the first warp weaving cycle in the next pile forming repeat.
