The invention discloses a new kind of tumour marker RL9/RL10 protein and polynucleotide encoding said polypeptide and a process for producing said polypeptide by recombinant methods. It also discloses the use of RL9/RL10 protein and its coding sequence, for example, applying the protein for the diagnose and treament of various kinds of tumour. Pharmaceutical composition comprising RL9/RL10 protein or its antibody is also disclosed.
