In this tungsten line made of tungsten or a tungsten alloy, the average value of the widths of surface crystal grains in a direction perpendicular to the line axis of the tungsten line is not more than 76 nm, the tensile strength of the tungsten line is not less than 4800 MPa, and the line diameter of the tungsten line is not more than 100 µm.
