Abstract:
A tuning fork type piezoelectric vibrator (1) is provided with: a tuning fork type piezoelectric vibration element (10) that has a basic part (50), a pair of vibration arm parts (60a, 60b), and a pair of connection electrodes (86a, 86b); and a base member (30) on which the tuning fork type piezoelectric vibration element (10) is mounted with conductive holding members (36a, 36b) interposed therebetween. The pair of connection electrodes include a second connection electrode (86b) that is disposed on a main surface (50A) and a side surface (50D) of the basic part (50) on the opposite side from weight parts (64a, 64b), and the conductive holding members include a second conductive holding member that is bonded to the second connection electrode (86b) along the main surface (50A) and the side surface (50D).
