Abstract:
This turbo compressor comprises: a motor that rotates a low-speed shaft; an acceleration mechanism that increases the speed of rotation of the low-speed shaft, and transmits the rotation to a high-speed shaft; and a compression mechanism that is connected to the high-speed shaft. The acceleration mechanism includes a ring member and a plurality of intermediate rollers. The high-speed shaft includes a pair of flange parts. The plurality of intermediate rollers are arranged between the pair of flange parts. An intra-housing passage is formed in a housing. An intra-axis passage and at least two intra-roller passages are formed in at least one of the intermediate rollers. The intra-axis passage is in communication with the intra-housing passage. Each of the intra-roller passages is in communication with the intra-axis passage, and a lubricating oil is supplied to the flange parts through each of the intra-roller passages.
