Abstract:
A turbocharger for compressing air for combustion in an internal combustion engine and forcibly feeding high-density air into the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, the turbocharger characterized in comprising: a turbine rotor blade rotatably driven by exhaust gas expelled from the internal combustion engine; and a turbine nozzle (25) for directing exhaust gas to the turbine rotor blade, wherein the turbine nozzle (25) has a partition member for dividing the turbine nozzle (25) in an intermediate position in the radial direction thereof, and the external peripheral side (42b) of the partition member slopes toward the internal peripheral side of the turbine nozzle (25) from the upstream side toward the downstream side of the exhaust gas directed by the turbine nozzle (25).
