Abstract:
The present invention reduces an error between a virtual rack end position and an actual rack end position. An end position learning unit (46) comprises: a first storage unit (72) which stores a turning position most distant from a neutral position of a turning mechanism out of turning positions detected by a position detection unit (14) when a rotation force applied to the turning mechanism is lower than or equal to a first predetermined value; a second storage unit (76) which stores a turning position most distant from the neutral position out of positions obtained by displacing, toward the neutral position of the turning mechanism by a second predetermined value, the turning positions detected by the position detection unit (14); and a third storage unit (78) which stores, as an end position to be stored in the end position learning unit (46), the turning position stored in the first storage unit (72) or the turning position stored the second storage unit (76) whichever is more distant from the neutral position.
