Abstract:
Formed inside a housing (60) of a turning unit (1) are: an upper outer space (83) provided outside a piston (11) in the radial direction; and at least one supply passage (84, 85, 89, 90) that guides, inward in the radial direction, a lubricant that has passed through a lower space (81), an outer passage (82), and the upper outer space (83) in this order, and supplies the lubricant to a plurality of brake members (13, 15) located below the piston (11). The plurality of brake members (13, 15) are disposed above a deceleration mechanism (30), and receive pressing force from the piston (11) to brake the rotation of a rotation shaft (71) before the rotation is decelerated by the deceleration mechanism (30).
