Abstract:

Positioning engagement members (27) are detachably provided between a base (10) and a turret (11) which is made, by the rotational drive force of an index/tool rotation motor (32), to index a work relative to the base (10). The positioning engagement members (27) engage with each other to prevent rotation of the turret (11). The rotational drive force given to the turret (11) by the index/tool rotation motor (32) is transmitted to/released from the turret (11) by a clutch member (31). The rotational drive force of the index/tool rotation motor (32) is transmitted by a power transmitting member to a rotary tool (14) which is mounted on a tool mount (12) of the turret (11). The positioning engagement members (27) are engaged with/disengaged from each other by an engaging/disengaging means. Further, the engaging/disengaging means brings the clutch member (31) into engagement interlockingly with the disengagement of the positioning engagement members (27), and brings the clutch member (31) into disengagement interlockingly with the engagement of the positioning engagement members (27).
