Abstract:
With respect to a two-component developer according to the present invention, external additive particles in toner particles contain silica particles. The number average primary particle diameter of the silica particles is 30 nm to 120 nm. A coat layer of each carrier particle contains a coat resin and barium titanate particles. The coat resin contains a silicone resin. The number average primary particle diameter of the barium titanate particles is 100 nm to 500 nm. The content of the barium titanate particles is 5 parts by mass to 45 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the coat resin. The ratio of the mass of the coat layer to the mass of the carrier core is 0.09% by mass to 4.90% by mass. The coverage of the carrier core is not less than 80.0% but less than 100.0%.
