Abstract:
A two-component thermally-conductive polyurethane adhesive comprises component A and component B. The component A is an NCO-terminated prepolymer made by reacting at least one polyol of Mn greater than 2,000 Da and an OH functionality of 2-3, with 30-45 wt%, based on the total weight of Component A, of at least one polyisocyanate selected from aliphatic polyisocyanates and mixtures of 2, 4'-MDI and 4, 4'-MDI. The component B comprises at least one polyol of Mn of less than 1,000 Da and an OH functionality of at least 2. An adhered assembly comprises a first substrate and a second substrate adhered to the first substrate by the polyurethane adhesive made by mixing together the component A and component B.
