Abstract:
The present invention provides a sheet-form tissue-reinforcing material and a method for producing the same, wherein the sheet-form tissue-reinforcing material is configured as follows in order to achieve an excellent tissue-reinforcing effect and excellent handling properties without needing to use fibrinogen or clotting performance derived from a patient. This sheet-form tissue-reinforcing material includes a base-material sheet that is biodegradable and has a communicated porous structure, and an adhesive agent resin layer formed by being secured on the base-material sheet. The adhesive agent resin layer includes a first reactant including aldehydated glycan, and a second reactant including partial carboxylated polylysine, and has: a granular structure derived from a powder of the first reactant; and a connection layer derived from the second reactant, the connection layer being anchored to the base-material sheet and being mutually connected to the granular structure. A mixed powder of a two-reactant adhesive agent comprising the powder of the first reactant and a powder of the second reactant is used in order to produce the sheet-form tissue-reinforcing material. For example, the mixed powder is dispersed in ethanol having a water content of less than 1%, and a dispersion liquid thereof is applied to the base-material sheet and then dried.
