Abstract:

[PROBLEMS] To provide a two-shaft hinge mechanism component enabling harness wiring and having a structure enabling durability, reduction in size, reduction in weight, and rotation regulatory mechanism of devices requiring smaller size, more lightweight, and new functions such as portable telephones, notebook computers, remote controls. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A two-shaft structure hinge having a structure in which helical springs (5, 17), a projection/recess cam, and crimping parts are passed on a rotary shaft (11) and an open/close shaft (12), assembled into a rotary-shaft and open/close shaft torque unit section, and attached to a hinge housing (9) is provided. An open/close torque unit is disposed on the left or right side of the hinge housing. The rotary shaft (11) is a hollow pipe-shaped shaft, thereby facilitating harness (thin wires) wiring work. The torque units are provided for the rotary and open/close shafts separately, thus ensuring stable torque and click, improved durability, easy part assembling, small size and lightweight thanks to reduction in the number of parts, and a space thanks to concentrated arrangement of the parts.
