Abstract:
An ultra-low viscosity liquid silicone rubber, a crosslinking agent, and a preparation method, which are particularly suitable for application scenarios requiring ultra-low viscosity, such as slit casting and 3D printing, and belong to the technical field of silicone rubber. The in-situ polymerization liquid silicone rubber comprises a cyclosiloxane, a cross-linking agent, and a catalyst; the cross-linking agent uses a cyclosiloxane containing Si-CH=CH2 and a linear polysiloxane having Si-H at both ends as monomers for reaction, and hydrosilylation is performed to prepare a "dumbbell-shaped" molecule both ends of which are cyclic siloxane. The cross-linking agent can be in-situ copolymerized with the cyclosiloxane to directly form a cross-linked elastomer, and the cross-linking density, the cross-linking speed, and the like of the silicone rubber can be controlled by adjusting the amount of the cross-linking agent, the reaction conditions, and so on. The entire system has the characteristics of low viscosity, controllable cross-linking, and convenient operation. In addition, the ultra-low viscosity liquid silicone rubber prepared by using the described method has low viscosity, short curing time, good environmental adaptability and thermal stability, and has better mechanical properties.
