Abstract:
Provided is an ultrafine-bubble-generating device for use in the bath, with which it is possible to generate large amounts of fine bubbles of uniform size. This shower 1 (ultrafine-bubble-generating device for the bath) discharges water containing ultrafine bubbles, and comprises a water supply part 2 for supplying water, a water supply pipe 3 (water supply passage) linked to the downstream side of the water supply part 2, a discharge part 4 linked to the downstream side of the water supply pipe 3 and having a plurality of spray holes 4a, a bubble-generating medium 5 that is porous and made partially or entirely of a complex of graphite and a non-metal, a gas feed passage 6 through which a gas being fed into the bubble-generating medium 5 passes, and a gas feed means 7 situated to the upstream side of the air feed passage 6, for feeding a gas into the bubble-generating medium 5. The water supply part 2 is provided with a flow rate on-off valve 11 (valve) for opening and closing the air feed passage 6, and the flow rate on-off valve 11 is in an open state when water flows from the water supply part 2.
