Abstract:
An ultrahigh-precision digital pulse signal generation circuit and method. The circuit comprises: a pulse edge control circuit, configured to generate a specific amount of delay for a signal on an input pin Input and precisely control the positions of a rising edge and a falling edge of the pulse signal to precisely control the pulse width and generate an ultrahigh-precision pulse; a static calibration circuit, configured to calculate, at the beginning of system duty power-on, step size information indicative of the relationship between a system duty clock cycle and the delay of delay units in the pulse edge control circuit and store the step size information, the step size information being the number of the delay units through which the signal is propagated and passes within a system clock cycle; and a dynamic calibration circuit, configured to dynamically calculate step size information in real time when the rising edge or the falling edge of each pulse on the input pin Input comes. The method is implemented based on said circuits. The present invention has the advantages of being simple in structure, easy to implement, high in precision, wide in supported pulse frequency range, etc.
