Abstract:
An ultrasonic transmission/reception device (100) comprises: a holder (2) for an ultrasonic sensor (1); the ultrasonic sensor (1), which is accommodated in a recess part (21) of the holder (2); and a drive mechanism (7) for changing the relative position of the ultrasonic sensor (1) in relation to the holder (2). A region of the ultrasonic sensor (1) at least including a radiation surface part (13) is exposed to the outside of the holder (2) through an opening (22) in the recess part (21). Changing the relative position causes the amount (ΔP) by which the ultrasonic sensor (1) protrudes from the holder (2) to change.
