Abstract:
Provided are an ultrasonic diagnosis device and a method for controlling an ultrasonic diagnosis device with which it is possible to accurately evaluate dysphagia. The ultrasonic diagnosis device includes: an ultrasonic probe; an imaging unit for transmitting/receiving an ultrasound beam using the ultrasonic probe, and thereby acquiring an ultrasound image of a subject's pharynx in accordance with an imaging condition; a chewing information acquisition unit for acquiring chewing information for when the subject performs chewing; an imaging condition adjustment unit for adjusting the imaging condition on the basis of the chewing information acquired by the chewing information acquisition unit; and a swallowing evaluation unit for evaluating swallowing performed by the subject on the basis of the ultrasound image acquired by the imaging unit according to the imaging condition adjusted by the imaging condition adjustment unit.
