Abstract:
An ultrasonic diagnostic device (150) for observing the interior of the body of a subject on the basis of a reflected ultrasonic wave (201) acquired from the interior of the body by an ultrasonic probe (101) is provided with: a B mode image generation unit (104) for generating a B mode image (202) on the basis of the reflected ultrasonic wave (201); a blood flow image generation unit (105) for generating a blood flow image (203) indicating a region in which blood flows on the basis of the reflected ultrasonic wave (201); a lumen contour extraction unit (106) for extracting the lumen contour (402) of a blood vessel on the basis of the blood flow image (203); a temporary adventitia contour setting unit (107) for setting a temporary adventitia contour (407) including the lumen contour (402); and an adventitia contour extraction unit (108) for, using the temporary adventitia contour (407) as an initial contour, extracting the adventitia contour (401) of the blood vessel using the B mode image (202).
