Abstract:
This ultrasonic image generation system includes: an ultrasonic unit which transmits and receives ultrasonic signals; a drive control-signal processing unit which repeats processes of generating a drive signal to be supplied to the ultrasonic unit and processing the signal received by the ultrasonic unit to generate an ultrasonic image signal; and a display unit which repeats the display of ultrasonic images based on the ultrasonic image signal, stops updating the display images according to a stop signal input, and resumes updating the display images according to a start signal input. The drive control-signal processing unit stops at least a part of an operation according to the stop signal input and resumes the operation that has been stopped according to the start signal input.
