Abstract:
According to one disclosed aspect, provided are an ultrasonic probe and a control method therefor, the ultrasonic probe being capable of providing information of an object, enabling elaborate cutting by layer of the object by adjusting a scalpel provided in the ultrasonic probe according to the information, and detecting main parts beneath the incision site so as to prepare for dangerous situations that can occur during cutting. The ultrasonic probe according to one disclosed embodiment comprises: a cutting unit for cutting an object; an adjusting unit for adjusting the cutting unit; a transducer for emitting an ultrasonic signal at the object so as to receive a reflected ultrasonic signal; and a control unit which determines the inside of the object on the basis of thee signal transferred by the transducer, and which controls the adjusting unit in correspondence to the inside of the object.
