Abstract:
This ultrasonic probe unit includes: an ultrasonic transducer (7) which is provided on the tip of an insertion portion to be inserted inside a subject and which transmits and receives ultrasonic waves; a plurality of cables (216a) which extend from the ultrasonic transducer (7); and a tubular connector (217, 218) comprising an arrangement of alternating conductive portions and insulating portions, said tubular connectors being configured so that the plurality of cables (216a) pass therethrough and so that the plurality of cables are electrically connected to different conductive portions.
