Abstract:
This ultrasonic sensor comprises: an oscillation body (2) that includes a cylindrical part (2b) and a bottom part (2a) which covers one end of the cylindrical part (2b); a piezoelectric element that is fixed to the inner surface of the bottom part (2a) of the oscillation body (2); a first housing member (51) that forms at least a section of a housing which accommodates the oscillation body (2); and a first elastic member (4) that is disposed sandwiched between the oscillation body (2) and the first housing member (51). The elastic member (4) has a front/back symmetrical shape and a closed-cell structure.
