Abstract:

An ultrasonic treating device where a horn (32b), a piezoelectric element (32d), and a backing plate (32f) of an ultrasonic vibrator (32) is formed in a substantially half-column shape having a side flat surface (32g), and in a space produced on the side of the ultrasonic vibrator (32) is provided a link mechanism (34c) for opening and closing a grip section (34) enabling a to-be-treated section (body tissue) in a to-be-inspected body to be gripped between a treating section and the grip section. This enables the to-be-treated section in the to-be-inspected body to be gripped between a head treating section (32a) and a gripping member (34b) of the gripping section (34), and enables the link mechanism (34c) to be efficiently received in a sheath.
