Title:
ULTRASONIC VIBRATOR AND BODY CAVITY ULTRASONOGRAPH HAVING THE ULTRASONIC VIBRATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/099696
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An ultrasonic vibrator comprises a plurality of ultrasonic vibrator cells each composed of a substrate having a lower electrode formed thereon and a membrane installed apart from the substrate and having an upper electrode. When a voltage is applied between the lower and upper electrodes of each cell, the membranes are vibrated to generate ultrasonic wave. The ultrasonic vibrator manufactured by using a micro machine process further comprises a vibration transmission suppressing means suppressing the transmission of the vibration of the ultrasonic vibrator cells to the adjacent ultrasonic vibrator cells.
