Abstract:

[Problem] To provide an ultrasonic vibrator wherein a resonant frequency can be adjusted, while maintaining drive power, and an ultrasonic treatment tool. [Solution] An ultrasonic vibrator 1 is characterized by being provided with: two metal blocks 2; a drive unit 3, which is disposed between the metal blocks 2, and which vibrates by generating piezoelectric effects when an alternating voltage is applied; and at least one adjustment unit 4, which is disposed, in an insulated state, between the drive unit 3 and each of the metal blocks 2, and in which Young's modulus changes.
