Abstract:
The present invention is to improve the accuracy of ultrasonic diagnosis using an ultrasound imaging device, method and program by using similar ultrasound image cases in ultrasound imaging. In the present invention, a processor acquires an ultrasound image group including a plurality of ultrasound images of a subject captured at a plurality of imaging positions by an ultrasound probe while the ultrasound probe is moved along the body surface of the subject. The processor retrieves a similar ultrasound image group having a similar feature to that of the acquired ultrasound image group by referring to an external device storing a plurality of diagnosed ultrasound image groups and diagnosis logs for the respective diagnosed ultrasound image groups, the diagnosis log including position information indicating the position of a disease. The processor identifies an imaging position on the body surface at which a disease predicted for the subject can be imaged using the position information included in the diagnosis log of the similar ultrasound image group, and issues a notification of the identified imaging position.
