Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an ultrasound sensor enabling easy formation of a 3-dimensional curving shape. An ultrasound sensor 1 according to an aspect of the present invention is provided with: a support member 3 having a curved surface; a film-like piezoelectric body disposed on the curved surface of the support member 3; and a vibration detecting element 2 configured of a pair of electrodes layered on upper and lower surfaces of the piezoelectric body. At least a part of the vibration detecting element 2 includes a non-vibration detecting portion that does not detect vibration. The non-vibration detecting portion is a part of at least one of the upper and lower surfaces of the piezoelectric body in which an electrode 12a is not layered, and which extends inward from the edge of the curved surface of the support member 3.
