Abstract:
An ultraviolet irradiation apparatus 10 is provided with: a light source unit 20 that includes at least one ultraviolet LED; a drive unit 30 that supplies a driving current to the ultraviolet LED; and a control unit 60 that controls operation of the drive unit 30. The control unit 60 calculates a driving current of the ultraviolet LED on the basis of information about spectral intensity characteristics of the ultraviolet LED and information about spectral operation characteristics of an object to be irradiated with light emitted from the light source unit, and the drive unit 30 supplies the driving current calculated by the control unit 60 to the ultraviolet LED.
