Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a structure for an ultraviolet irradiation device for implants which is for removing organic contaminants from implants using ultraviolet rays, whereby an implant can be readily and smoothly inserted into and removed from a processing chamber, and which has no risk of recontamination of the implant after processing. [Solution] An ultraviolet irradiation device for implants comprising a housing having an opening and closing door, an ultraviolet ray lamp arranged inside the housing, a carriage disposed inside the housing so as to be drawable, and an implant holding body mounted to the top of the carriage and arranged facing the ultraviolet ray lamp inside the housing; and characterized by the implant holding body comprising a mounting base detachably mounted to the carriage and an implant support base detachably mounted to the mounting base.
