Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an ultraviolet light irradiation system having a P-MP configuration with which effects such as even sterilization in each irradiation target area can be obtained so as to ensure safety and work efficiency can be improved. This ultraviolet light irradiation system 301 is characterized by comprising: an ultraviolet light source unit 11 that generates ultraviolet light; N (where N is a natural number of two or more) irradiation units 13 that irradiate N irradiation target areas AR with the ultraviolet light; and an optical distribution unit 12-3 that branches the ultraviolet light to paths 14 to respective irradiation units 13, wherein the optical distribution unit 12-3 is a variable branch ratio coupler capable of changing the branch ratio for branching the ultraviolet light to the paths 14.
