Abstract:
Provided is ultraviolet transmission glass having not only high transmittance in a deep ultraviolet range but also high weather resistance. The ultraviolet transmission glass according to the present invention is characterized by having a glass composition containing, in mass%, 55-80% of SiO2, 1-25% of Al2O3, 10.8-30% of B2O3, 0-10% of Na2O, less than 0-1.6% of K2O, 0.1-10% of Li2O+Na2O+K2O, 0-5% of BaO, and 0-1% of Cl, and has a thickness of 0.5 mm and an external transmittance of 38% or more at a wavelength of 200 nm.
