Abstract:
A rainwater removal system according to the present invention comprises: a lower case having an inner space; an upper case provided to stand upright from the lower case to a predetermined height, the upper case comprising a long umbrella insertion opening which is open to one side of a side surface thereof along the height direction thereof, and a short umbrella insertion opening provided on an upper surface connected to the upper end of the side surface so as to be adjacent to the long umbrella insertion opening; a long umbrella rainwater removal unit disposed inside the upper case so as to be adjacent to the long umbrella insertion opening, the long umbrella rainwater removal unit being provided to be able to move upwards/downwards along the height direction of the upper case such that, if a long umbrella is inserted into the upper case through the long umbrella insertion opening, the long umbrella rainwater removal unit moves upwards, contains the umbrella cloth, and suctions rainwater; a short umbrella rainwater removal unit disposed inside the upper case so as to be adjacent to the long umbrella rainwater removal unit, the short umbrella rainwater removal unit being configured to suction rainwater while containing the umbrella cloth of a short umbrella inserted through the short umbrella insertion opening; a first sensor provided on the upper portion of the long umbrella rainwater removal unit or inside the long umbrella insertion opening so as to sense whether the long umbrella is inserted or not; a second sensor provided on the upper portion of the short umbrella rainwater removal unit or inside the short umbrella insertion opening so as to sense whether the short umbrella is inserted or not; and a controller for operating the long umbrella rainwater removal unit and the short umbrella rainwater removal unit if sensing signals are output from the first and second sensors.
