Abstract:
There are provided an unauthorized copy preventing device, method, and program capable of easily protecting a printed content. A pattern (pattern characteristic amount) extracted from a pattern image on the original sensitized paper is stored on the original sensitized paper. When copying the printed content of the code-attached sensitized paper XPc, validity whether the original sensitized paper OP or not is decided according to the pattern stored in the sensitized paper XPc, so that presence/absence of the original can be checked by the pattern the sensitized paper itself has. Thus, it is possible to easily protect the printed content.
