Abstract:
In an underpants-type disposable diaper (1), both side end parts of a stomach-side region (1A) and both side end parts of a back-side region (1B) of an exterior body (6) are bonded to form a pair of side seal parts (8) extending in the vertical direction (X). The portions of the side end parts of the stomach-side region (1A) and the back-side region (1B) which form the side seal parts (8) contain cellulose fibers and thermoplastic fibers. In the side seal parts (8), the cellulose fibers are oriented in a direction that intersects the vertical direction (X) along which the side seal parts (8) extend.
