Abstract:

A uniflow scavenging two-cycle engine (100) is provided with: a cylinder (110); a piston (112) that slides inside the cylinder; an exhaust port (116) disposed at one end of the cylinder; an exhaust valve (120) that opens and closes the exhaust port; a scavenging port (122) that is disposed on the inner peripheral surface at the other end of the cylinder in the stroke direction of the piston, and draws an active gas into a combustion chamber (140) according to the sliding motion of the piston; a plurality of fuel injection valves (128) that injects a fuel gas into the active gas drawn into the combustion chamber from the scavenging port so as to generate a premixed gas; and a fuel injection control unit (152) that varies the direction of injection of the fuel gas injected from some or all of the plurality of fuel injection valves (128).
