Abstract:
Disclosed is a universal ball joint (100), comprising a fixed portion (101) and a ball joint (130). The fixed portion (101) is provided with an accommodation cavity (102) having an opening end, which is surrounded and formed by a cavity wall. The ball joint (130) comprises a ball joint body (131), a connection member (132) and at least one guide stud (133), wherein the ball joint body (131) is provided in the accommodation cavity (102), and the connection member (132) and the guide stud (133) are both provided on an outer wall of the ball joint body (131). The cavity wall is provided with a guide slot (104). The connection member (132) is located outside the accommodation cavity (102), and is capable of wiggling at the opening end. The guide stud (133) is slidably provided in the guide slot (104). When the guide stud (133) slides along a lengthwise direction of the guide slot (104), the guide stud (133) substantially does not apply an acting force to the guide slot (104). When the guide stud (133) moves along a widthwise direction of the guide slot (104) under the drive of the ball joint body (131), or the guide stud (133) shows a tendency to move along the widthwise direction of the guide slot (104), the guide stud (133) abuts against a side wall of the guide slot (104) and applies a certain acting force to same, and then the guide stud (133) drives the fixed portion (101) or a part of the fixed portion (101) to rotate, thus achieving transmission of torque. Further disclosed are a module installed with the universal ball joint and a component connection method, wherein the module and the component connection method both use a universal ball joint connection.
