Abstract:
The invention relates to a grinding spindle for grinding machines. Said grinding spindle can be used in universal grinding of seats and elements, especially sliders and valves, and comprises a mount (2, 4;50) and a rotationally driven, disc-shaped holder (16; 60; 159) which rotates in relation to said mount. A plurality of driveable planetary grinding discs (19; 63) are distributed on the holder (16; 60; 159), which are driven by a drive system. A first spherical bearing (22, 25; 65, 66) is fitted between the holder (16; 60; 159) and a drive member (25a; 53) for the holder (16; 60; 159), which is arranged on the mount (2, 4; 50). A universal joint (11, 13; 58, 59; 38) having the same central point as the first spherical bearing (22, 25; 65, 66) connects the lateral grinding discs (19; 63) to a drive shaft (7), which extends coaxially in relation to the drive member (25a; 53) or a fixed axis to enable free spherical rotation.
