Abstract:
The present invention provides an unlicensed carrier contention method and apparatus. The method comprises: a licensed assisted access (LAA) device performs clear channel assessment (CCA) or extended clear channel assessment (eCCA); when the assessment result is that the channel is idle, the LAA device performs a decrement operation on N and determines whether N after decrement is greater than zero, where N is a natural number; and when the determining result indicates that N after decrement is not greater than zero, the LAA device uses unlicensed carriers to perform data transmission. By means of the present invention, the problem of lacking a contention rollback mechanism and flow suitable for an LAA system in the related art is solved.
