Abstract:
An unlicensed carrier resource processing method, comprising: a master eNodeB (MeNB) which supports dual connectivity (DC) selecting a frequency point and a bandwidth of one or more target unlicensed carriers from candidate available carriers in an unlicensed frequency band; and the MeNB notifying a secondary eNodeB (SeNB) which supports the DC of information about the frequency point and the bandwidth of the one or more target unlicensed carriers, wherein the information about the frequency point and the bandwidth of the one or more target unlicensed carriers is used by the SeNB to select a secondary serving cell LAA Scell which is configured on an unlicensed carrier serving for a user equipment (UE) and is granted to be accessed with assist. The solution solves the problem of failing to effectively support a co-frequency configuration for DC+LAA in the relevant art, and achieves the effect of effectively supporting the co-frequency configuration for DC+LAA.
