Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for unwinding a material web (1), more particularly a paper or card web, from a winding roll (2, 3) for a downstream machine unit for processing the material web (1), the axle journals (17) of which roll are mounted in axle journal bearings (18) with a rotatable outer ring (10), having a primary unwinding device (5), a secondary unwinding device (6), a transport apparatus (8) running between said primary (5) and secondary unwinding devices (6) and a gluing and separating device (7), wherein the primary unwinding device (5), the secondary unwinding device (6) and the transport apparatus (8) have running surfaces (11, 12) each running in parallel with each other and coming into contact with corresponding counter surfaces on the outer rings (10) for moving the winding roll (2, 3) from the primary (5) to the secondary unwinding device (6), the axial location of the running surfaces (12) of the primary (5) and the secondary unwinding device (6) being adjustable and the running surfaces (12) of the primary (5) and the secondary unwinding device (6) and the corresponding counter surfaces of the outer rings (10) having a form guiding the respective outer ring (10) axially. The intention is to reduce the design effort by the transport apparatus (8) being fixed and the running surfaces (11) thereof and/or the corresponding counter surfaces of the outer rings (10) giving the outer ring (10) concerned at least an axial clearance corresponding to the scope of the axial adjustment of the running surfaces (12) of the primary (5) and/or the secondary unwinding device (6).
