Abstract:
An upper housing assembly and a self-balancing vehicle thereof. The upper housing assembly comprises a pedal (30) and an upper housing; the pedal (30) is movably provided on the upper housing; a photoelectric switch assembly (10) is provided on the upper housing; and the photoelectric switch assembly (10) is provided corresponding to the rotating axis (42) of a wheel and is located below the pedal (30). The photoelectric switch assembly (10) is provided on the upper housing and is located below the pedal (30), so that the photoelectric switch assembly is closer to the pedal (30); and the photoelectric switch assembly (10) is closer to the pedal (30), and thus, the pedal (30) more easily triggers the photoelectric switch assembly (10), thereby detecting whether a person stands on the pedal (30), improving the accuracy and agility of the sensing of the pedal, and reducing the case of erroneous determination of the self-balancing vehicle.
