Abstract:
An upright dewatering apparatus comprising a housing (1), an upright inner drain tower (2), and a spiral belt push rod (3). The upright inner drain tower (2) is arranged within the housing (1). The spiral belt push rod (3) is arranged within the upright inner drain tower (2). One or more water-leaking holes (10) are provided on the side of the upright inner drain tower (2). A material inlet (17) is provided at the bottom part of the upright inner drain tower (2). A material outlet (12) is provided at the top part of the upright inner drain tower (2). A power source that drives the spiral belt push rod (3) into rotation is arranged at the bottom part of the housing (1). A water-receiving tank (7) is arranged within the housing (1) corresponding to the four sides of the bottom part of the upright inner drain tower (2). A water outlet (18) is connected onto the water-receiving tank (7). Employment of the structure having the upright inner drain tower (2) in conjunction with the spiral belt push rod (3) for dewatering treatment of food waste allows for a simplified structure and great dewatering effects, also, arranged at the outlet is an upward/downward adjustable sealing plate for use in adjusting output speed and in controlling the level of dewatering.
