Abstract:
Disclosed are a USB type-C (USB-C) DMP device and a playback method for same. The USB-C DMP device comprises: a USB terminal for connecting to an input port of a monitor or a television (TV); a Wi-Fi module for receiving a mirroring signal from a mobile terminal through Wi-Fi communication; a converter module for converting the mirroring signal received by the Wi-Fi module into a USB-C signal and transmitting the USB-C signal to the monitor or TV through the USB terminal; and a system-on-chip (SoC) module for controlling the Wi-Fi module to receive the mirroring signal from the mobile terminal, and controlling the converter module to convert the mirroring signal received by the Wi-Fi module into the USB-C signal. According to the above-described USB-C DMP device and a playback method for same, since the DMP device is implemented according to a USB-C scheme, not an HDMI scheme, there is an effect in that the DMP device is operable by directly receiving power from a TV or monitor. In addition, the DMP device is configured to allow a voice input to be inputted through a separate voice input device, and process the voice input by receiving same through Bluetooth communication or USB communication, or by using I2C and I2S communication schemes, and thus, unlike conventional technologies, the DMP device has the effects of smoothly processing remote user voice input and implementing various functions.
