Abstract:
The present invention provides a use of catechol and derivatives in preparation of drugs for treating sleep disturbances. The use described in the present invention is mainly implemented by means of the drug orexins receptor. Moreover, it is also found in the present invention that the compound in the present invention can also acts on GABAA receptors, so as to achieve a synergistic effect with the orexins receptor. The structure of a compound of formula I is as shown in the drawing. R1, R2, R3, and R4 are respectively independently selected from ethyl, propyl or butyl groups.
