Abstract:
A use of a colloidal manganese adjuvant in establishing a primary Sjögren's syndrome animal model, and a method. The primary Sjögren's syndrome animal model is obtained by performing local subcutaneous injection of the colloidal manganese adjuvant on an animal for immunization. The method avoids the defects of an original mouse model, and has the advantages of being high in morbidity, stable in progress, having capability of well simulating clinical Sjögren's syndrome disease symptoms, and the like, and the obtained mouse model only involves exocrine glands such as salivary glands and lacrimal glands and is not accompanied by other systemic injuries. The method can be applied to Sjögren's syndrome occurrence and development mechanism exploration and therapeutic drug screening.
