Title:
USE OF COMPOSITION CONTAINING FERROUS AMINO ACID CHELATE FOR MANUFACTURING MEDICAMENT FOR TREATING DYSFUNCTION OF LIVER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/148922
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a use of a composition containing a ferrous amino acid chelate for the manufacturing of a medicament for treating a dysfunction of liver. The medicament comprises a composition containing an effective amount of a ferrous amino acid chelate and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier thereof. The present invention proves that application of the composition containing the ferrous amino acid chelate can effectively reduce liver function-related serum biochemical values. For animals whose liver function cannot be improved by long-term administration of S-adenosylmethionine, the liver function thereof can be effectively improved by applying the composition containing the ferrous amino acid chelate of the present invention. Furthermore, the composition containing the ferrous amino acid chelate of the present invention can improve functions of an aged liver.
