Abstract:
A use of an extract from rabbit skin inflamed by vaccinia virus in the preparation of a drug, more specifically, a use in the preparation of a drug for treating the demyelinating disease of a nervous system. In addition, provided is a use of the extract from the rabbit skin inflamed by the vaccinia virus for preparing a drug for recovering the function of nerves in patients with the demyelinating disease of the nervous system. The demyelinating disease of the nervous system may be multiple sclerosis, acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, or neuromyelitis optica. In addition, the extract from the rabbit skin inflamed by the vaccinia virus may be Lepalvir.
