Abstract:
Use of Lactobacillus reuteri FN041 in the preparation of a product for preventing and/or treating atopic dermatitis of a target population. The target population is a pregnant woman, a lactating woman and/or a child. The product comprises, but is not limited to, a food product, a drug or a pharmaceutical composition and/or a health care product. The product is provided to a child at a dose not lower than 1×106CFU/day of viable bacteria. The morphology of the Lactobacillus reuteri comprises a living cell, an inactivated cell or a fermentation product or metabolite form of Lactobacillus reuteri, or a mixture form of any one of the above-mentioned morphologies. The dosage form of the product comprises, but is not limited to, a tablet, granule, capsule, powder, liquid or jelly.
