Abstract:
Provided is the use of oxidoreductase and a mutant thereof in the biosynthesis of nootkatone. The oxidoreductase is derived from Wickerhamomyces anomalus M15 and has a high ability to convert nootkatol, and an oxidoreductase mutant having a higher ability is obtained by means of site-directed mutation. Compared with the existing oxidoreductase that is capable of catalyzing nootkatol, the oxidoreductase and the mutant thereof have a good substrate tolerance, a high conversion rate and a high salt tolerance, provide conditions for the synthesis of nootkatone using an enzyme catalytic method in vitro, and achieve the synthesis of nootkatone by means of catalyzing nootkatol in an environmentally-friendly and efficient manner.
